How To Join as a Survey Coordinator

Become a coordinator and lead data collection teams

Important: To become a coordinator, you need an invitation from an existing coordinator or system administrator. You cannot self-register as a coordinator.

What is a Survey Coordinator?

A Survey Coordinator is a trusted user who manages data collection teams. Coordinators can:

  • Invite and manage Survey Agents (field data collectors)
  • Invite sub-coordinators to expand their team
  • Share surveys with tracked invite links
  • Monitor team performance and response collection
  • Earn rewards for team contributions

Step-by-Step Instructions

Receive an Invitation Link

An existing coordinator or administrator will send you an invitation link. The link looks like:

survey.aktiful.com/ic/AbC123

If you don't have an invite link, ask your organization's administrator or an existing coordinator to create one for you.

Click the Invitation Link

Open the link in your browser. You'll see a registration form that shows who invited you and what role you're being invited to (Coordinator or Survey Agent).

Fill Out the Registration Form

Complete the registration form with your information:

  • Full Name: Your real name as you want it displayed
  • Email Address: A valid email you can access
  • Phone Number: Your contact number (optional but recommended)
  • Password: Create a secure password

Submit Your Registration

Click the "Join as Coordinator" (or "Join as Survey Agent") button to complete your registration. Your account will be created automatically with the appropriate role and trust level.

Log In to Your Account

After registration, you'll be redirected to the login page. Enter your email and password to access your new coordinator account.

Access the Coordinator Hub

Once logged in, you'll see the "Coordinator" section in your sidebar. Click "Coordinator Hub" to access your dashboard where you can:

  • View your team statistics
  • See response collection metrics
  • Monitor your trust score and tier level

Build Your Team

Go to "My Team" to start building your data collection team:

  • Click "Create Invite" to generate invite links
  • Choose whether to invite a Survey Agent or Coordinator
  • Share the generated link with your recruits

Share Surveys with Your Team

When you share surveys using your invite links, responses collected through those links are automatically attributed to your team. This enables:

  • Reward point tracking for your team
  • Budget distribution based on contributions
  • Performance metrics on your coordinator dashboard

Understanding Trust Score and Tiers

As a coordinator, you're part of the trust network. Your position is determined by:

Trust Score (0-100)

Measures your credibility. Higher scores unlock more features and bypass stricter fraud checks. Your initial trust score depends on who invited you.

Tier Level

Shows your position in the hierarchy. Tier 1 coordinators are directly under administrators. Each level down adds +1 to your tier.

Pro Tip: Stay active to maintain and improve your trust score. Collect responses regularly, recruit quality team members, and contribute to the platform consistently.
